Dental emergencies rarely happen at a convenient time. If you're dealing with pain, swelling or a damaged tooth, call our office right away. We set aside time each day for urgent visits and will do everything we can to see you quickly.
Common dental emergencies
- Severe toothache
- Chipped, cracked or broken teeth
- A knocked-out tooth
- Lost fillings or crowns
- Swelling or abscess
- Injuries to the gums, lips or cheeks
What to do right now
If a tooth has been knocked out, gently rinse it without scrubbing, try to place it back in the socket or keep it in milk, and call us immediately — time matters. For swelling, apply a cold compress to the outside of your face and avoid placing aspirin directly on the gums.
